Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology Fellowship Program
The two-year program is designed to provide a comprehensive educational experience in all aspects of neurointerventional care, while promoting clinical research. With a faculty consisting of dual-trained endovascular neurosurgeons and an interventional neurologist, the fellows are exposed to and actively participate in the entire spectrum of neurointerventional care. This includes the most current endovascular techniques and technologies for the treatment of cerebral aneurysms, AVMs, spinal vascular malformations, tumors, acute stroke and atherosclerotic diseases of the cervical and intracranial vessels. Additional expertise in spinal vertebroplasty and treatment of tumors of the head and neck further enhance the fellows’ educational experience.

Recognized as a comprehensive stroke center in the state of New Jersey, University Hospital provides fellows with an opportunity to not only train in a high-volume environment and use the most current technologies available, but also to perform mentored clinical research in all areas of cerebrovascular disease.

The goals of the Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology Fellowship are centered on patient care and research, and education. To that end, scholarly activities in anatomy and radiation physics along with weekly didactic conferences are designed to ensure that graduating fellows are fully educated in the basics of the field as well as the newest technological advances.

Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology at UMDNJ continues to be a pioneer in this ever-expanding field. With multiple IRB protocols and upcoming participation in multi-center randomized trials, UMDNJ’s program will continue to grow as the leading institution in the state and be at the country’s forefront of education and patient care. The program will certainly provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge that will allow you to become a leader in the field. For more information contact LaDawn McClamb at 973-972-1164.
